In this time and age where anyone and everyone can be content creators, names like Twitter, Path, Instagram, and Pinterest are sounding more familiar. In fact, these names are expanding their services to reach greater audiences.
I came across this article on how Libraries can use Pinterest (an online pinboard for users to “pin” images and share them with friends) to spread the word on their products and services.
It’s rather interesting, especially when it involves images and information that people can see on-the-go. And while we go further into more advanced technologies, reading and learning can be transformed to become more social, accessible, and collaborative in the future.
