Log in By Username…..

I like this feature in our Spydus. You just need to register a username when you sign up for library membership. After that, you just need to enter this usernameto get connected to your library.

Presently, my local library does not have such a feature. To get connected to the library I first need to enter “my membership number/identity number (which is a 9-digit number)”, then enter “the first word of my name as per my membership ID” and finally “my date of birth“.

Sometimes I think how nice it would be if my local library had such a feature and I didn’t have to remember the numbers. As you know, we have so many sets of numbers to remember. So much easier to remember a “username” — that’s it, and get connected … what do you think??
